Lemont Twp HSD 210 recognizes student athletes and teams for 2025 state and sectional achievements

The board recognized individual student qualifiers and team champions across soccer, track & field, tennis and other sports during the June 16 meeting.
At the June 16, 2025 meeting, Lemont Township High School District 210 recognized student athletes and teams for accomplishments in spring 2025 athletics.
Director of Athletics Mr. Sommerfeld recognized Gabriela Kuruc for selection to the 2025 Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association Girls’ Soccer All-State team; Cassie Cunningham, Hannah Farley, Maya Fedko, Niki Tselios and Ashley Wrublik as qualifiers to the 2025 IHSA Class 3A Girls’ Track & Field State Finals; Daniel Jaquez as a qualifier to the 2025 IHSA Class 3A Boys’ Track & Field State Finals; and the boys’ tennis team as IHSA Sectional Champion. Individual qualifiers for the 2025 IHSA Boys’ Tennis Class 1A State Finals were Aditya Oberai, Vikram Oberai, Marco Pavlica, Mitchell Sowa and Sean Svoboda. Member Gary Gray, representing the Board, congratulated the students on their accomplishments.
The recognitions were presented at the start of the public session following the Pledge of Allegiance.
