Board approves consent agenda, sets FY2026 budget hearing and displays tentative budget

The Lemont Township High School District 210 Board of Education approved its Consent Agenda on July 21, 2025. The items passed by motion included approval of bills through July 21 totaling $2,011,843.35 and payroll disbursements of $633,879.45 (period ending 06/06/2025), $591,476.26 (period ending 06/20/2025), and $67,422.06 (period ending 06/27/2025).
The board also approved public notice to set the FY2026 Budget Hearing for Sept. 15, 2025, and to place the FY2026 Tentative Budget on public display from Aug. 14 through Sept. 15, 2025. The motion on the consent agenda was moved by Member Koehler and seconded by Member Driscoll; the roll call vote recorded six ayes and no nays.
Why it matters: The tentative budget display and hearing start the formal public-review process for FY2026 spending priorities and allow residents an opportunity to review and comment before final adoption. The bills and payroll approvals reflect the district’s near-term cash obligations.
