Board approves retracement plat for Mount Carmel property

Roads Director (Speaker 3) and commissioners discussed adjacent alley vacations and easements; the board directed staff to work with the county attorney and affected property owners to process an easement on the west side and pursue vacating the alley to the west when appropriate. The board moved to approve the retracement plat and voted in favor. No public objections were recorded on the record.
The decision authorizes staff to start the administrative process for easements and potential alley vacating; any subsequent legal steps will return to the board as required.
