Scholastic Bowl team featured as 'Rebels in the Spotlight' at Rankin board meeting

At the start of the March 24 meeting, the board showcased the Scholastic Bowl Team in a 'Rebels in the Spotlight' presentation led by Ms. Marj Oesch. A video introduction of team members and a brief season overview was shown; board members thanked Oesch for her enthusiasm and for stepping into the coaching role.
Student Council President Lewis Beckham reported the StuCo 3-on-3 alumni basketball tournament was successful and previewed the IAJHSC State Convention on April 11; Rankin StuCo plans to meet with Porta Junior High StuCo for bowling and networking before the conference. The board acknowledged student achievements and upcoming events.
