Mr. Yocum reported student activities at Parkview: spirit week Oct. 27–31 for Red Ribbon Week, Candy Grams sales and a Halloween Dance on Oct. 30 from 6–7:30 p.m. Mrs. Woods said the Tazewell County Health Department awarded a $399 grant to purchase 10 light boards (five per building) to support Family Engagement Nights. ELA teachers met to complete Goals 1 and 2 of the District Literacy Plan; district staff will use an anonymized numbering system to report test results to protect student privacy.
