The Board of Education, Township High School District 208, approved a personnel packet following closed session on July 8, 2025 that accepted resignations, authorized new hires and approved stipends.
After returning to open session, the board approved resignations including Joseph Urbanski (Special Education Aide), Bradley Vojcak (Assistant Baseball Coach, .5 stipend) and Rachael Schoenhardt (Assistant Girls’ Track and Field Coach). The motion to approve the personnel packet was moved by Mr. Caputo and seconded by Ms. Hruska and carried with five AYE votes; Ms. Gasca and Mr. Novak were recorded absent.
The packet also included certified and non-certified hires: Megan Volz was approved as a Special Education Teacher (.7 FTE) at MA +45, Step #2, $49,700, pending Faith's Law employment verification; paraprofessional appointments included Amaya Coleman (Special Education Aide) at $20.00 per hour and Hunter Hughes (Special Education Aide) at $22.50 per hour. The board additionally approved a .3 FTE paraprofessional appointment for Megan Volz at $20.00 per hour, also pending verification.
Stipends approved included Bradley Vojcak as Assistant Best Buddies Sponsor (Group E #6+, $5,161) and Megan Welch as Esports Sponsor (Group J #2, $996). The board recorded the vote in open session after reconvening.
