The Board of Clark County Commissioners on April 29 approved a slate of resolutions authorizing contracts, grant acceptances, equipment purchases and intergovernmental MOUs as part of regular business.
Major items included: a not-to-exceed $40,000 HVAC maintenance contract with Advanced Mechanical Services (Resolution 2026-0327); a $1.434 million bridge contract to Ohio Bridge Corporation (Resolution 2026-0328); participation in the ODOT road-salt contract with a 5,000-ton electronic-order commitment (Resolution 2026-0329); IT and multifunction-device contracts for Job and Family Services (Resolutions 2026-0330–0331); AT&T contracts for phone service and NextGen 911 ($40,530.96 and $21,420) (Resolutions 2026-0332–0333); MOUs with Logan and Miami counties for inmate housing at a $65 per diem (Resolutions 2026-0335–0336); and a $9,750 Retail Development Project Fund grant to The MacRay Company LLC (Resolution 2026-0337).
The board also accepted emergency-management and public-safety grants (Ohio EMA $73,033; Ohio DPS $46,561.36), a $31,431.20 Ohio EPA Recycle Ohio Grant for roll-off containers (Resolution 2026-0340), approved final payment #22 ($64,782.09) to Elford Inc. for courthouse renovations (Resolution 2026-0342), and authorized equipment purchases for the County Engineer totaling roughly $80,000 across multiple items. Several routine financial actions — supplemental appropriations, warrants for "then and now" invoices and travel allowances — were also approved. All recorded roll-call votes on the resolutions were Yes.
