Roosevelt students showcase middle-school art; PTO reports spring events

Board President Katie Avalos introduced Roosevelt Middle School student presenters Maeve, Truman and Violet, who presented activities occurring in the middle school art department. The minutes note the student presentation as part of the opening of the May 20 meeting.
Separately, the Board Liaison reported on the District PTO Council's recent meeting, which discussed staff appreciation week, Roosevelt Fun Fest, Willard's 5K run and K–4 Ice Cream Socials. These items were presented as committee/liaison updates and no board action was recorded.
