The River Forest SD 90 Board of Education on June 3 approved a Memorandum of Agreement with the RFEA that provides a specific teacher access to unpaid leave, the board said. Superintendent Dr. Edward Condon introduced the memorandum and explained its purpose during the Committee of the Whole meeting at Roosevelt Library Learning Center.
Mrs. Katie Bevan moved to approve the Memorandum of Agreement and Dr. Eric Isenberg seconded the motion. The roll call showed ayes from Dr. Kristine Mackey, Mrs. Beth Vlerick, President Kathleen Avalos, Mrs. Bevan, Mr. Joseph Cortese and Dr. Isenberg; nays: none. The motion carried.
