Commission approves March minutes with edits; schedules May 19 meeting; trails NEPA and feasibility study updates given

A motion to approve the March 31 minutes with Randy's edits was moved, seconded and approved. Speaker 5 moved to approve and Speaker 6 seconded; two commissioners said "aye" and the chair recorded the motion as passed. Curtis will incorporate the edits into the minutes.
The commission set its next meeting for May 19 to avoid a Memorial Day conflict. Separately, a commissioner reported the BLM's NEPA review for the Lamoille Summit Trail System is complete and that the consulting company is finalizing edits for a public‑comment draft; parking‑area funding remains available even though construction funding for the full trail is not.
The same commissioner said an RFP for a Humboldt Rubies Trail feasibility study had been or would be posted and that volunteers and future grant opportunities could support trail construction once NEPA and funding align. The chair adjourned the meeting at 06:45.
