The Planning Commission approved a variance requested by Raymond Schroeder to reduce a west-side yard setback from 20 feet to 10 feet so he may build a new shop adjacent to an existing structure at 1914 Janie Way.
Corey presented the application and reported no neighbor comments opposing the request. Staff recommended approval with conditions tied to Elko County Code and Nevada Revised Statutes. Corey read the relevant condition that “the minimum side yard setback shall be 10 feet as applies to the proposed new shop addition as shown in the attached site plan.”
Commissioner Gavorski moved to approve VAR26-3 with staff recommendations; the motion was seconded and carried without recorded opposition.
