Elko County LEPC reapproves bylaws required by State Emergency Response Commission

The Elko County Local Emergency Planning Committee formally reapproved its bylaws, a required annual submission to the State Emergency Response Commission, noting there have been no changes since a comprehensive rewrite in 2023.
"The bylaws are a required document for submission to the State Emergency Response Commission annually," the chair said while introducing the item. Committee members raised no changes and Danny Hassett moved to reapprove and update the date to conform with CERC; Joel Finley seconded and the motion passed by voice vote.
The chair reiterated that reapproval will be recorded in the meeting minutes with an updated date for the State Emergency Response Commission filing. No substantive bylaw amendments were proposed at the meeting.
