Staff said the rates reflect operating costs including fuel, maintenance, on-board tools and consumables; federal excess equipment pricing was noted and staff said federal excess units can only be charged at a portion of replacement value where applicable.
Chief Matt Peterson told the board the guide was reviewed and corrected for a typographical date and that command and utility vehicles were moved to a flat per-day rate to simplify billing calculations. "We changed our command and utility vehicles of a flat rate per day instead of a day rate plus miles," he said. Commissioner (speaker 2) moved to approve the guide with the corrected date and the board adopted the rate guide by voice vote.
