It's a it's bittersweet. I'm super happy for his retirement, but I'm really gonna miss him when he goes." Hamilton thanked colleagues and family: "Steven Hamilton for the record. I'd like to thank Chief Peterson and the staff, for their support." Chester Petrocki, identified himself as "the chief at Rendon," added that Hamilton "was a very good chief." The commission presented a plaque and invited photo opportunities; no formal action was required for the recognition.
