Addison board approves up-to-$320,000 purchase of Western Star dump truck

Highway Superintendent Kenny Peoples, Jr. presented the bid information, saying the best quote to replace the 2013 dump truck was $317,518 with estimated delivery in the fall of 2025. The board recorded the contingency that the town will not finalize the purchase if the vehicle cannot be delivered by November 1, 2025. The purchase was treated as part of routine highway capital planning during the board's review of department reports.
The motion and roll call were recorded by Town Clerk Robin Carr. No dissenting votes were recorded. The board previously approved ordering a new pickup for the highway department during the meeting.
