Commissioners approve final change order and accept NDOT inspection for Mayflower Road bridge

Skye Meaders of the Department of Infrastructure Planning & Growth described the change order as primarily an INDOT reconciliation of contract pay items that exceeded or fell short of contract quantities. Meaders said, "This project in itself, when it's all said and done, will be over by about $30, which in a 5,300,000 project's only point 6%." The board approved the final change order and separately approved the NDOT final inspection form (inspection conducted 07/15/2026), each by unanimous votes.
