The town bookkeeper reported receipt of funds from the Town Clerk ($636.50), Justice ($800.00), county sales tax of $36,243.83 (down $2,326.49 from last year), fire tax $2,794.38, NYS Retirement $2,131.00 and interest totaling $2,938.50. She told the board that the Williamson Law Program, recommended by the NYS Comptroller, is not user friendly and must be manually balanced to match bank accounts; the board agreed to consider other accounting software.
The bookkeeper is preparing 2026 budget packets that are due by Sept. 4, 2025, and the board agreed to add a cleaning line for the Town Barn. During the meeting the board approved claims presented for payment: General Fund claims Nos. 81–121 totaling $23,674.85; Highway DA Fund Nos. 24–40 totaling $8,303.61; Highway DB Fund Nos. 13–21 totaling $71,148.11; Trust & Agency Nos. 12–17 totaling $1,156.00, for a grand total of $104,282.57. The July 2025 Supervisor report was also approved by majority vote.
