Addison board schedules Oct. 2 special meeting for 2026 tentative budget; regular October meeting moved to Oct. 9

The Town Board voted to schedule a Special Meeting on Oct. 2, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall so the Town Clerk can deliver the 2026 Tentative Budget. Council Member Jason Becker moved the scheduling motion, seconded by Council Member Joseph Trappler; Supervisor Jack Thompson and all board members voted aye.
Because the bookkeeper indicated she would not have enough time to prepare financial data for Oct. 2, the board also approved a motion by Council Member Trappler, seconded by Council Member Alice Weale, to change the regular October meeting to Oct. 9, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., with a Budget Workshop to immediately follow. Both motions passed unanimously and were entered into the minutes.
