During the public comment period, resident Nick Stephens asked why the camper located at 7670 Lodge Road was condemned. Supervisor Jack Thompson said that the matter could only be discussed with the property owner; the town clerk acknowledged receipt of a FOIL request from Stephens regarding the condemnation and is working to provide the requested records.
Other public commenters raised village fiscal matters and emergency services questions. Ed Soporowski said the Village budget would be completed the next day and noted the ambulance was in for repair due to a coolant leak. He reported the Village is favorably considering allowing the Fire Department to go independent. Hope Trappler asked whether monthly ambulance or fire department reports were being provided; Supervisor Thompson acknowledged the request.
