The Wessington Springs City Council voted unanimously on Nov. 3 to adopt Resolution #11-1, expressing the city's support for the 2025 Jerauld County Hazard Mitigation Plan. The resolution states the city participated in the development of the county plan and will "take action to ensure that the Plan is implemented."
The motion to adopt the resolution was made by Shawn Tobin and seconded by Scott Vaske; council roll call on the measure recorded all ayes.
