District reports near-complete bus-barn re-roof, pump replacement quote of $8,746 at LaSalle

During the Sept. 30 meeting Superintendent Mr. Johnson updated the board on facilities and operational items.
Mr. Johnson said the bus-barn re-roof project is almost complete. He also reported that a faulty pump at LaSalle School must be replaced before the boilers are placed into service; DMI quoted the pump and labor at $8,746.00. The minutes show no motion to approve the expenditure at this meeting, so procurement follow-up will be required if the district proceeds.
Mr. Johnson also reminded the board of scheduled safety and training events: an active-shooter drill on Oct. 7, 2025, and a tentative reunification drill on Oct. 24, 2025. KEB auditors are scheduled to present the district audit on Nov. 18, 2025.
