Ellis County welcomes new EMS, HR and communications staff

Ellis County HR and department leaders introduced two recent hires and a new communications assistant; EMS director Danita Schroeder introduced Corbin Brown as a part-time EMS hire who has completed coursework but not testing.
Jennifer Taylor of Ellis County Human Resources introduced two recently welcomed employees and reported progress filling open county positions during the Aug. 4 commission meeting. "Jennifer Taylor, Ellis County HR," she said when identifying herself to the board and noting hiring updates.
Danita Schroeder, identified in the meeting as EMS director, introduced Corbin Brown and said Brown will start on part-time EMS staff and has taken EMT classes though has not yet completed testing. Chair introduced Emily as a new assistant in the communications office and said she has been with the county about two weeks.
Commissioners and staff thanked the new employees and welcomed them to county service; no formal action was required.
