Elko CAB supports FY2025 predator-plan amendment to reallocate funds

The Elko CAB reviewed an amendment to the Department's FY2025 predation-management plan that reallocates funding among existing predator management projects.
Chair Jim Cooney summarized the proposal: staff recommended moving $72,500 from projects 38 and 43 into project 37 and shifting $10,000 from project 43 into project 47 to address emerging needs. "Proposed to move 72,500 from projects 38 and 43 to project 37," Cooney said while presenting the amendment summary.
A motion to support the amendment was made by a board member and seconded; the CAB approved the change by voice vote and the chair registered an aye. Department staff said donated funds will be used to supplement any deficit created by the reallocation.
