Lincoln — The Lancaster County Planning Commission approved the minutes of its July 8, 2026 meeting and accepted the consent agenda at its Aug. 5 meeting. The consent agenda included a change of zone/amendment to the Wilderness Crossing planned-unit development (called as Item 1.1) and a special permit (Item 1.2) for Advantage Trucking LLC to allow a salvage yard in I-1 zoning with a waiver from the 100-foot setback; the clerk recorded the consent agenda as approved 5–0.
Later in the meeting, the commission approved Preexisting Special Permit 28G (Item 4.1) — expanding the permit boundary by roughly 15.37 acres for outdoor athletic fields associated with Union Adventist University — by a 5–0 vote. The commission closed the public hearing before voting. The meeting adjourned after the final votes.
