Town Manager reports training, audit estimate and new mutual aid with Gouldsboro Fire Department

Town Manager Sara Liscomb told the board that she and a colleague named Misti are signed up for mandatory trainings, including a two-day training at the end of August, and that Sara will take a certified clerk test at the end of July. Liscomb also reported that the auditor advised a forensic audit would cost at least $30,000 and recommended one only if there is a problem with the yearly audit.
The minutes record that the Fire Department signed a new Mutual Aid Agreement with the Gouldsboro Fire Department and that 30 notices were sent. During public comment R. Arnett requested new woodchips for the playground and D. Young thanked staff for mowing. The meeting adjourned at 7:31 p.m.
