Residents raised concerns about truck traffic, the condition of local roads, noise and vibration, light pollution, floodplain impacts and whether traffic‑mitigation options such as a Stevens Drive cul‑de‑sac had been adequately considered. Multiple commenters asked for a public hearing and delay; Commissioner Sandys moved to deny the Planning Commission recommendation to the Board of Supervisors, but the motion received no second.
