Committee approves several temporary premise expansions and a new Class B license

On Aug. 3 the P and P committee approved a series of licensing and premise requests brought before the meeting. Actions included approval of a temporary premises expansion for Copper State Brewery (parking-lot expansion for a Sept. 5, 2026 event), a licensed-premises expansion at 1237 Main Street for Sept. 11–12, returning a previously non-renewed Class B liquor license (Agro food truck, 100 South Broadway) to the licensing pool, a premise expansion for Irish Temper at 240 North Broadway (four tables under a covered shelter) and issuance of a new Class B beer license for MSS Inc (Midwest Super Speedway) at 1016 Tony Cannato Run.
Committee staff said the police department raised no objections to the temporary expansions. The clerk noted the license returned to the pool had been refunded for the current year because the holder did not request an evidentiary hearing. All motions to approve these items passed by voice vote in committee, and the clerk will process final documentation according to standard procedures.
