The council on March 3 adopted Res. No. 30-25 approving change orders for All Seasons Arena Project No. 11075. City Administrator McCann reported the change orders "came from Metcon, Rink Tec, Malterer Mechanical, Laketown Electric, and Dirt Merchant for a total change order of $65,514.42," and that the reserve balance would be $18,171.12 after applying the changes. McCann said the ASA Board recommended the change orders and that subsequent sales and scope adjustments should restore the balance to about $57,507.
Council Member Whitlock asked how close the project was to completion; McCann said "the project is about 50% completed" and that the hope is the next phase will focus on a newer rink with fewer surprises. The motion to approve the change orders passed unanimously.
