The council unanimously adopted Ordinance No. 184 on Feb. 18, a housekeeping measure designed to incorporate ordinances passed over the last year into the City Code and to provide penalties for violations. Administrative Services Manager–City Clerk Van Genderen described the ordinance as "essentially housekeeping."
Council Member Peterson moved to adopt the ordinance and Council Member Whitlock seconded; the recorded vote was Oachs, Peterson, Whitlock, Steiner and Carlson, aye, with no nays. No substantive policy changes were described in the meeting record beyond consolidation and codification.
