EDC to meet restaurants, expand business spotlights and social media promotion

John McGuire and Economic Development Specialist Chad Kuzontkoski will follow up with local restaurants to find out what assistance they would like from the Economic Development Commission, the commission agreed. The goal is to identify needs and any support the EDC can provide, including promotion and technical assistance.
The commission also agreed to pursue a "business spotlight" feature on the Town website and in the Observer; Maria Silvestri volunteered to help prepare promotional information for the Observer. Commissioners discussed increasing social media exposure for local businesses, and Jeff Girard said he is working on online links to promote the town and will report progress over the summer.
