The City of Pateros voted to award and accept the chipseal project contract for work in 2025, approving Tommer Construction Company for $165,999. Councilmember Holly Bange moved to adopt the award; the minutes record the motion as “a resolution awarding the chipseal project to Tommer Construction Company in the amount of $165,999.”
City Administrator Jord Wilson told the council he had secured some add-on work for the project and said the remaining extra funds would be returned to the Transportation Improvement Board (TIB). The award was first recorded in a special council meeting on June 3 and the contract was formally accepted at the June 16 meeting; motions carried unanimously in both instances.
