Packwaukee board approves multiple business licenses, denies one Class B liquor application

The Town of Packwaukee on June 10 approved a package of 2025–2026 business licenses affecting five local establishments and granted a temporary beer permit for a community event. The board approved three Class B Combination liquor-and-beer renewals for Crossroads Chateau, Winger Starlite Lodge and Rodney Hall (DBA Trading Post) on a motion by Keith Bagley, seconded by Vikki Trimble; minutes record the vote as "All in favor" and the motion passed.
The board addressed a Class B liquor application for Lakeview Campground & Bar. Adam Schuh moved to deny the Class B liquor license application "due to the fact there are no licenses available," a motion seconded by Trimble and recorded as passed. The board then approved a Class B beer license and a Class C wine license for Lakeview Campground & Bar in separate motions, and approved non-intoxicating beverage licenses for Crossroads Chateau, Winger Starlite Lodge, Rodney Hall (DBA Trading Post) and Lakeview Campground & Bar. The board also approved a cigarette license for Rodney Hall (DBA Trading Post).
Operator-license requests were approved en masse on a motion by Trimble. Separately, the Packwaukee Historical Society received a temporary beer license for Historical Days and the board voted to waive the application fee. The minutes do not include a roll-call tally; each motion is recorded in the minutes with the phrasing "All in favor and motion passed."
