Marquette County Highway Committee approves LRIP awards, $88,000 in bridge DMA funds

Chair Mike Raddatz called the Marquette County Highway Committee to order at 8:30 a.m. on April 15, 2024. Committee members present were Mike Raddatz, Dave Benson, John Bennett, Kathy Jo Locke and Lance Achterberg; other county officials present included Brian Trebiatowski and Brenda Petersen. The committee approved the agenda (moved John Bennett; seconded Dave Benson) and approved the March 18, 2025 minutes (moved Dave Benson; seconded Kathy Jo Locke).
The committee recorded several formal actions: it awarded material and construction segments for the 2025 CTH J LRIP project (Kartechner for asphalt materials; WK Construction for cold-in-place recycling and milling) and approved two additional DMA bridge work allocations totalling $88,000 (an extra $35,000 for deck and crack sealing and $53,000 for deck repairs and washing). The meeting record shows each motion "carried." Chair Raddatz adjourned the meeting at 8:44 a.m.
