City staff presented a lease and concession agreement with Mom's Place LLC, operated by Libby Lenza, to reopen the airport cafe and share kitchen facilities with the existing tenant where scheduling allows.
Staff said the agreement "will generate 1000 dollars per month in the lease revenue for the city, and the cafe is expected to open the 1st full week of September." The proposal included coordination with the previous concessionaire on shared equipment and hours.
Council voted to approve the lease by voice vote. No additional financial incentives or city subsidies were announced at the meeting.
