The board reviewed multiple Thrun policy sections covering finance, student conduct, enrollment, curriculum, extracurricular activities, student support services, health and safety, and miscellaneous district policies. The minutes note a specific discussion about policy 5305 (Schools-of-Choice) and how to set the district's SOC capacity — options include a percentage or a fixed number; the policy will be reviewed annually.
Board members also noted some CSD-specific renumbering (for example, Field Trips to 5506CSD and Opioid Antagonist to 5706CSD) that will accompany the policy migration. The full set of proposed policy actions will be on the agenda for subsequent meetings, including the June 23 session where the board will consider archiving current policies except for Title IX policies already adopted.
