Marquette County P&Z committee approves agenda, reviews department reports and vouchers

At its June 5, 2025 meeting the Planning and Zoning Committee approved the agenda and May 1 minutes, heard department reports (including a written Register of Deeds report on Laredo issues) and reviewed vouchers; no citizens spoke and the next meeting was set for July 3, 2025.
The Marquette County Planning and Zoning Committee convened on June 5, 2025 in the Public Safety Room at the County Courthouse. The committee approved the meeting agenda and minutes from May 1, 2025 without objection.
Under department reports Register of Deeds Nicole Ziebell supplied a written report that included a summary of Laredo issues; the Land Information Director and Planning & Zoning Administrator Jean Potter provided updates. The Zoning Technician was absent due to a septic inspection but supplied a month phone call summary. The committee then reviewed Register of Deeds, Land Information Director and Planning & Zoning Department vouchers and raised no comments.
No citizens offered comments or concerns during the public comment period. Under other business the committee scheduled its next meeting for July 3, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. in the Public Safety Room at the County Courthouse. Chair Judi Nigbor adjourned the meeting at 9:22 a.m.
