Resolution 35-2025 amends Marquette County Code Chapter 53 to raise the county dog license fee by $3, increasing the fee for neutered/spayed dogs to $6 and for unneutered/unspayed dogs to $11. The change takes effect January 1, 2026.
The Executive and Finance Committee presented surrounding-county fee comparison data and recommended the increase above the statutory minimum under Wis. Stat. §174.05.
