Enterprise Fleet Management presented a proposed vehicle-leasing program and a projected 10‑year fleet-equity analysis to county committees. Ben Walljasper described how switching to four‑year vehicle terms and leasing could reduce maintenance costs and improve resale value. Green Lake County leaders reported they implemented the program in 2018 and discussed benefits and customer service experiences.
Administrator Ron Barger summarized next steps and told the committee Ben will present to Executive & Finance; "If moving forward with agreement it would begin July 1, 2025," he said. Committee members asked for additional details on maintenance, mileage factors, and contract length; Executive & Finance will consider the proposal before any county commitment.
