Lovington commission approves 4th quarter financials and adopts FY26–27 budget

The commission approved Resolution 2026-098 (the fourth-quarter financial report) and then moved to adopt the FY26–27 budget (Resolution 2026-099). Staff said a few minor adjustments remained but that the interim budget was essentially complete and that the package will be submitted by the finance team as required.
"Except for some minor adjustments, this may or to the interim budget," staff said when presenting the quarter report; commissioners discussed cash strategies and confirmed submission timelines. After brief discussion commission voted to approve the financial report and to adopt the FY26–27 budget as presented.
