Board hears bond and facilities updates; Kellogg to get radiant heat and Ryan skylight planned for next summer

At the Dec. 15 meeting Trustee John McCann provided the board with an update on bond-funded projects across the district. He said the district will install radiant heat at Kellogg Elementary over the winter break, and that storage buildings at the Gull Lake Center for the Fine Arts and the maintenance facility should receive occupancy permits by the end of the month.
McCann told the board that Sinking Fund projects are complete except for the Thomas M. Ryan Intermediate skylight replacement, which is scheduled for next summer. The Facilities Committee also reported that Tower Pinkster has delivered plans and renderings for the Tennis Building to AVB Construction for budgeting; the committee expects a cost report in January. Deputy Superintendent Lisa Anderson said she has met with Miller Davis to review funding available for wish-list items.
