As part of the consent agenda on Aug. 19 the Forest Hills Board of Education approved instructional and assessment purchases intended for district classrooms. The board authorized up to $79,000 for McGraw Hill Everyday Math (EM4) digital subscriptions, up to $94,200 for Math 180 materials from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and up to $62,200 for NWEA MAP Reading Fluency assessment materials from Heinemann.
In separate consent action the board approved the supplemental instructional resource Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann for use at Eastern High School. The purchases and the supplemental title were approved as consent-group items during the 7–0 consent vote and were presented as part of routine curriculum and assessment procurement ahead of the 2024–25 school year.
