The committee's recommendations included the purchase of Math 180 from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for grades 9–12 special education (not to exceed $94,200); NWEA MAP Reading Fluency assessment materials from Heinemann (not to exceed $62,200); Everyday Math (EM4) digital subscriptions from McGraw Hill for K–5 (not to exceed $79,000); utilizing local purchasing options for diesel fuel for the 2024–2025 school year (not to exceed $400,000); authorizing Allied Electric to relocate a secondary power line at Eastern Middle (not to exceed $94,900); awarding Parkway Electric a contract for Fine Arts Center rigging (total cost $298,781, including contingency); and authorizing reimbursement of $10,821.21 to Kent County for refunded property taxes.
