The motion "to approve the Thrun policies 4216, 4218, 4229, 4605, 4606, and 4607 to be effective July 1, 2025" was moved by Sara Tracy and seconded by Erin Hunt-Carter and passed unanimously by those present.
The board then approved a second package (Action Item 78-24-25) covering student-facing policies: Student Expression (5101), Lockers (5102), Search and Seizure (5103), Age of Majority (5104), Collaboration with Outside Entities (5105), Transgender Students (5106), Hazing (5203), Student Appearance and Dress Code (5204) and Student Handbooks (5205). That motion, moved by Glenn Fox and seconded by Erin Hunt-Carter, also passed 5-0 with two members absent.
