The Gull Lake Community Schools Board of Trustees voted unanimously Dec. 4 to hire Mike Yale as the district's Director of Buildings & Grounds after Superintendent Christopher Rundle recommended the appointment.
Rundle told the board that Yale has been with the district for 28 years and is currently serving as the Buildings & Grounds Assistant. The board approved the appointment following a motion by Trustee Krystal Scott‑Rhodes, supported by Vice President Desiree LaDuke; the motion "passed unanimously." The action was recorded during a special Board meeting held at 8:15 a.m. in the Christopher L. Rundle Administration Building in Richland.
