Mason board adopts NEOLA digital content and accessibility policy

The Mason Board of Education adopted NEOLA policy 7540.02 (Digital Content and Accessibility) on Jan. 8 after a second reading. Amy Lark moved to adopt the policy and Steve Duane supported the motion; the board recorded a unanimous vote: "All yes. Motion carried. 6-0."
The board also received first-reading information on NEOLA policy 6550 (Travel Payment & Reimbursement) and 7250.01 (Memorials); those items were presented for initial review and will return for further action in future meetings. The Policy and Community Committee had reviewed NEOLA updates at its Dec. 18, 2025 meeting as part of its agenda.
