The board approved Sara Boone as a science teacher for Manistee Middle/High School (motion by Jessica Stallings, support Dr. Antal); Heather Dean as an English-language-arts teacher at MMHS (motion by Jim Thompson, support Dr. Antal); and Crystal Harthun for a beginning-kindergarten teaching position (motion by Jessica Stallings, support Jim Thompson). Each motion passed by a 4–0 roll call vote.
