Board hires four teachers and approves professional development recommendations

Separately, the board approved four teacher hires for Manistee schools: Stephen Knewston was approved as a math teacher for Manistee Middle/High School; Michael Harrington was approved as an MMHS ELA interventionist; Rebecca Conoley was approved for a fourth‑grade position; and Megan Lowe was approved as a kindergarten teacher. Each hire was adopted by motion and roll call during the meeting. The board recorded full support in the roll calls for the hires.
