ALRB staff report summer outreach, trainings across multiple counties

Montgomery listed activities including office hours at a family resource center in Greenfield and at Inland Congregations United for Change in Thermal; trainings with Arvin Farm Labor Center and the Kern County Housing Authority; presentations for the Employment Development Department in Indio; and workshops with community nonprofits and labor federations.
Montgomery said staff "have been out and about in the community," noting appearances with the Mexican consulate in several counties and media engagements including monthly radio programming. The general counsel characterized the summer as a busy time for regional outreach aimed at informing farmworkers and employers about labor rights and agency services.
