Debbie Fisher, Neil Peterson sworn in to Lucas City Council

The Lucas City Council administered oaths of office to returning council members Debbie Fisher (council seat 5) and Neil Peterson (council seat 6) on May 15. Each repeated the oath required by the state of Texas and signed the certificate of election.
"It's an honor to serve the citizens of Lucas and to serve with this fine council," Fisher said after being sworn in. Peterson said he looks forward to "expanding my knowledge and learning and continue to serve with you." The council and staff took photographs following the oath and congratulated both members.
