Green Island trustees set paving and parks schedules; summer park program starts June 30

During the board forum trustees shared public-works schedules and recreation details to inform residents. The DPW will mill and pave Center Street on June 18–19; the DPW parking lot and a portion of Arch Street will be worked on July 7–9. Staff said full Arch Street reconstruction remains in a later program year and that sidewalk work may be phased depending on funding.
Staff also confirmed the summer park program runs 10 a.m.–5 p.m., with park staff from 5–9 p.m. beginning June 30, and that sprinklers will start the same day. "10 to 5 is our stay program," Becky said. The summer concert series is scheduled to begin Wednesday, July 9 from 6 to 8 p.m.
